We decided to exchange the Jetta for a more dog-friendly ride...a Toyota FJ Cruiser! The kids love it. As do Jeff and I! I feel a roadtrip coming on :)

Nothing like waking up on a beautiful Sunday morning, sun shining, birds chirping and Aidan snoring beside be! Woke up early enough to enjoy reading my book "quietly". 30 min later, Gillian bounded out of bed and got to work in the kitchen with Jeff. I was then brought breakfast in bed, followed by some great cuddling with the family. Then I was summoned to the family room for the next event: the kids music compositions. 

 

Adorable to say the least. The kids also had songs for me. Next up was to the kitchen for presents. I was greeted with a beautiful array of homemade cookies (the linzer cookies are my fave made with homemade raspberry jam), homemade presents and a beautiful new cookbook. All my favorite things.
