Oh Canada!
Sitting in the Vancouver airport with the kids, anxiously awaiting our flight home to Ottawa. I've been looking forward to this ever since I made the decision to book our flights. Leading up to it, I was lucky enough to have 4 days with my brother and his family this past week. Was great seeing my nieces and nephew and have all the kids hanging out. I even managed to send Alan & Shireen off one night for a date night so I could have some fun times with them all to myself. I think the kids had fun taking turns on Aidan's go-cart and Jeep then movie night with popcorn (bedtime at midnight :) ) and breakfast the next day. We managed to hit the hot spots in Seattle too: Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, the Space Needle, shopping as well. I wasn't too saddened to see them head out on Thursday back to finish their vacation in Vancouver since I'll be seeing them again on Tuesday when I head to Ottawa for a couple of days. But first, we'll head to Kingston to hang with my sister and her family. Then it's off to Pembroke on Thursday for 2 days. Hoping to reconnect with some friends while I'm home. It's nice to be back in Canada!
